Westex had been around for over 60 years as a rural telephone cooperative. Their greatly expanded service into cable television and high speed internet required a massive face lift. We developed a campaign which included television, web design, outdoor and corporate identity.

I designed this logo to incorporate the sun, a familiar sight on the horizon of the flat plains of west Texas. The circle W also communicates a broader firm and is purposefully reminiscent of historic cattle brands. The circle W was intentionally designed to spin-off by itself as needed.

I created the WesTex logo while I was Vice President and Creative Director at Briscoe Hall
